What an exceptional week we had with Valor High School, from the US! Our first youth camp in collaboration with the Itahiana club, secondary school students, and our visitors from Colorado was a great success.
We had the pleasure of welcoming 22 high school students and 4 chaperones for their discovery and study trip program. The week was busy, but every moment was worth it. We started with a Christian camp last weekend, followed by practical work for building a new classroom. During the cultural exchange day, we taught our guests how to cook Malagasy dishes like mofo anana and to savor the famous koba sy sosisy.
The most heart-warming moment of this adventure was when our 26 visitors generously visited the homes in Ambohidratrimo and the surrounding areas to share God’s love and prayers through food and blanket distribution.
To conclude their stay with us, we organized a sports day with all our students, followed by a delicious dinner with all the teachers and staff of the YWAM Land of Canaan center.
We are forever grateful to God for His divine plan. Hosting visitors is a blessing, and practicing hospitality while learning beyond the walls of our classrooms is priceless. Seeing these children and all those working hard to expand His kingdom is what drives us to move forward and make things happen.
God is good, bravo Lord!
For your prayers, your thoughts, and for the parents who came late Saturday night to pick up their children after the camp, for your trust in the school, we say THANK YOU and Glory to the Lord.
We are thankful to God for allowing us to successfully complete the feeding program last Saturday. As we do every year, we were able to support 38 families with basic necessities. These families experienced firsthand that God listens to their prayers, and we have been praying together for this blessing.
