ARISE AND SHINE ![]()
Today marks the kickoff of our very first Staff training seminar, a short version of School of Ministry Development.
We are excited to welcome 20 dedicated participants from various centers and bases, committing full-time to this pioneering phase.
Over the course of four modules for four weeks, we will explore a range of topics, delving into God’s character and words to deepen our ministry and calling. This seminar is accredited by the University of the Nations and we are so thankful to God for this new opportunity.
We are looking forward to transformative experiences as we step into this journey together! A huge thank you for your prayers and warm thoughts.
Blessings!
Week 1 – Module 1 Complete! ![]()
We’ve wrapped up our first module, focusing on the big picture of YWAM and the University of the Nations (UofN). God has been reminding us of YWAM’s core values, DTS as foundation, The heart of serving, our callings, the great commission, Knowing & understanding our shape and His boundless love for all of us, as staff and volunteers. It was a blessing to connect with people from different centers and bases.
We concluded the sessions with a special dedication to God, renewing our commitment to the Lord.
We’re excited to start the second module next week and would appreciate your prayers and support as we continue this journey. Thank you for standing with us!

** MODULE 2, COMPLETED!** – Understanding community living – Integrity Life – Understanding Personality – Living a proper transition – resolving conflicts – Self Care & Member care
On the last day of Module 2, we welcomed seven new students from other bases and centers to learn about member care. A big thank you to Ton Vegt and Carla Vegt from the Netherlands, full-time missionaries working in international member care ministry, for providing us with deep teaching on adaptation and transition as missionaries.
We also extend our gratitude to Setra Andrianala and the STS staff for their heartfelt service over the past two weeks. This seminar’s purpose is for us to understand who we are, what YWAM is, and what it means to work as YWAM missionaries. But above it all, to deepen our relationship with God.
Thankful to God for the completion of the last two modules today. We will be back for modules 3 and 4 in early July. God is the reason for all of this, and we owe it all to Him.
We’re delighted to have you, dear co-servers, encouraging us through your secret prayers, comments, and reactions. May God bless you all.
Have a blessed weekend!
