Happy New Year Season!

The past month, we had big opportunities to visit extended family, as it was the Happy New Year season. It is a Malagasy ritual to go from house to house and greet Happy New Year to all family! ….and you can imagine when Mirana and I have 44 houses to visit….But we only made 10 out of those; which are the closest to our hearts (Parents, in laws, grandma, and Uncles & Aunties). This season is very important for family bonding, eating traditional food, kissing on the cheek 3 times, fellowship with siblings & cousins, eating 🍭 🍬, but the most is to honor the parents and receive Blessings from them!
