/ IT’S SWEET TO GET MARRIED WHEN … // (May 2026)
When we were «girls» we really loved each other. We were inseparable, loved to talk, and we always look forward to seeing each other again.
After the «marriage» is over, the daily life and the different responsibilities have entered. Little by little, each of us found their own, kept each other safe, and the deep connection between us diminished. There comes a time when we realize that when we are alone, we easily argue and criticize each other. So we prefer to be with friends even if there is someone else there, it will be more peaceful.
But there were no children at that time…
It was in this difficult time that God led us to attend this seminar with Adrian Chua..
This one has touched our lives deeply. Married couples taught us the importance of maintaining the relationship and «intimacy» in marriage. We’re back holding hands, back kissing (except for the kiss when we meet and break up hihi), back talking and getting to know each other better.
It’s not the big things that change suddenly, it’s the little things done with love that slowly restore the warmth and flavor of our relationship.
Now, as we look back on the journey we’ve come, we’re filled with gratitude. The challenges are still there, but our love for each other and «unity» is stronger than ever. We believe that when marriage is healthy, children, families, neighbours and even nations are blessed too.
This is just a fraction of what we have learned but there is still a lot to learn..
This was the same seminar we attended then, where God used to make our marriage sweet again..
