Commissioning Elders for YWAM

A next Wave of Leadership in YWAM MADAGASCAR (Jun 2026)

Yesterday marked a significant milestone for YWAM Madagascar.

With gratitude to God, we joyfully witnessed the commissioning of three new Elders and Conveners , Razanadrafara Celestine Andrianala Mirana , and Jean Claude Fanomezana who have been entrusted to serve for the next two years, providing spiritual oversight, conveners and leadership across our ministries throughout Madagascar.

This is not the beginning of a new vision, but the continuation of God’s faithful work.

With deep honor and gratitude, we recognize our regional Elders in Southern of Africa, the former Elders, together with our Base Leaders and Ministry Leaders, whose wisdom, faithfulness, sacrifice, and servant leadership have laid a strong foundation for this new season. Their ongoing support, counsel, encouragement, and partnership remain an invaluable blessing to the YWAM Madagascar family.

Today, we joyfully release these leaders under the Lordship and Leadership of Jesus Christ.

We thank God for their humility, wholehearted obedience, and servant hearts. Our prayer is that they would continue to grow in intimacy with God, reflect Christlike character, and lead with:

Fear of God and integrity

Love

Peace & Joy

Strength & Courage

Wisdom & Discernment

Humility & Servanthood

Patience, Perseverance & Endurance

…all through the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit.

May they faithfully live out the Great Commandment – loving God wholeheartedly and loving people sincerely and the Great Commission, making disciples who will multiply disciples for the glory of God throughout Madagascar.

We invite you to continue praying for all our Elders, Conveners, former Elders, Base Leaders, Ministry Leaders, and every YWAM team serving across the nation.
